GP Online Services
You can now book and cancel appointments, order repeat prescriptions, view your summary patient records and have a two-way conversation with your GP practice – all using a computer, laptop, smartphone or tablet device.
People registered at any of the 37 GP practices in Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre are able to use online services such as myGP and Patient Access.
The myGP app can be downloaded to any smartphone device and used to book appointments without the need to go to your practice.
Download and register for the myGP app and you will be able to use your smartphone to:
- Book or cancel appointments online with a GP or nurse.
- Book or cancel appointments online on behalf of someone you care for, such as children or elderly or disabled relatives.
- Receive messages from directly from your practice and have the ability to respond to them.
The myGP app also allows you to order repeat prescriptions and view your medical records, however you may need to ask your GP practice to supply a linkage key and account ID to enable these functions of the app.

Patient Access can be viewed on a computer or laptop or downloaded as an app on smartphone and tablet devices.
Sign up to Patient Access and you will be able to use a computer/laptop or mobile/tablet app to:
- Book or cancel appointments online with a GP or nurse.
- Order repeat prescriptions online.
- View parts of your GP record, including information about medication, allergies, vaccinations, previous illnesses and test results.
- View clinical correspondence such as hospital discharge summaries, outpatient appointment letters and referral letters.
You may need to visit your GP practice in order to initially sign up to Patient Access.
