In April 2026 we had 161 patients who did not attend their appointments. Please ensure if you are unable to attend that you cancel your appointment.
We strive to deliver accessible, high-quality and person-centred care that recognises the complex needs of our population. By working collaboratively with patients, local partners and community services, we aim to empower individuals to take an active role in their health while addressing the wider issues that impact it.
As an NHS general practice, we proudly serve patients across south Blackpool and parts of St Annes. Our comprehensive range of services is delivered from purpose-built premises within the South Shore Primary Care Centre. Highfield Surgery is conveniently located on most of the top floor and part of the first (middle) floor of the health centre. Excellent accessibility is ensured via two lifts, and facilities are available throughout the building to accommodate disabled individuals and parents with children.
