Practice News – March 2026
New General Practitioner
We are delighted to announce that Dr Rebecca Magill has now joined our practice. If you see her around, please do take a moment to say hello and give her a warm welcome. We are certain she will be a wonderful addition to our team and look forward to you meeting her soon.
Important Update: Skin Hub Service Discontinuation
We would like to inform our patients that the Skin Hub service, for which our practice has been a proud pilot site, will be discontinued from April. Over the course of the pilot, the service has demonstrated remarkable results, including a reduction of over 40% in secondary care referrals – a fantastic achievement for our community.
We are pleased to share that the success of the Skin Hub means it will now be commissioned more widely. However, the exact arrangements and details for the new service are still being finalised, and we will update you as soon as we know more.
We thank you for your support and understanding as we transition through these changes, and remain committed to providing you with the best possible care.
Mounjaro for weight loss referrals
We are pleased to inform our patients that those eligible for the first batch of Mounjaro medication for weight loss referrals have been contacted directly by our team. If you have not received notification, this means you are not eligible for this medication at this time. Please rest assured that we will proactively reach out to all eligible patients as further batches become available. There is no need to contact the surgery to request Mounjaro. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
