Self Care

Self-care is all about finding ways to improve your physical and mental health and wellbeing. This includes staying active, knowing how to prevent falls, checking your medication/stocking your medicine cabinet and knowing how to treat common illnesses and ailments yourself. All of these are little things we can do to prevent health and wellbeing issues getting to the point of needing medical help.

Missed appointments

In October 2023 we had 174 patients who did not attend their appointments, please if you cannot attend your appointment could you cancel it as soon as possible so that another patient may utilise it.  You can cancel by ringing us on 01253 953950 and selecting option 1 or by cancelling via the NHS App or MyGP/Patient Access.

 

NHS Digital Weight Management Programme

The NHS Digital Weight Management Programme is a 12-week online behavioural and lifestyle programme. 

The programme offers free, online access to weight management services for those who have a BMI greater than 30 and who also have diabetes or high blood pressure, or both. Pharmacy Technician spotlight

Pharmacy Technicians – Callie, Sammi & Sue
Pharmacy Technicians play an important role within General Practice complementing the work of Clinical Pharmacists. They undertake clinical audits, issue prescriptions and where appropriate provide information to patients and other members of the Primary Care Network. Pharmacy Technicians are usually supervised by a Clinical Pharmacist as part of a PCN pharmacy team.
