The surgery is housed in a purpose built Primary Care Centre, and the Centre has been opened since April 2011.  The premises are modern with full disabled access including disabled parking and lift.

 

Part 2

Under the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (The Care Quality commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 Part 4), the registering body (Highfield Surgery) is required to provide the Care Quality Commission a statement of purpose.

The GMS services provided by the practice are defined in the standard General Medical Services contract.  These services are mainly split into three groups:

Essential Services

We provide essential services for people who have health conditions from which they are expected to recover, chronic disease management and general management of terminally ill patients
